Students in the seventh and eighth grade cover both topical and textual lessons to help them win the daily battles young Christians must face. In our Junior High classes there is a definite transition from "thinking with their hands" to "thinking with their heads." Classes for younger children often involve hands on teaching activities to reinforce the lessons covered.
In Junior High we continue our commitment to reaching the heart and mind of each student by utilizing workbooks, word studies, and class discussion. These methods encourage students to carefully think through their faith, and build on the knowledge they have gained in their previous Bible classes. During this very important time in their lives, these students are taught not just that there is value in studying about God, but that it is ultimately the most important thing we can study.
